Develop solutions to real world problems that can be solved with a Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) on KORIS.

Description

Metis is a Layer 2 solution that utilizes Ethereum Layer 1 security tech for its own blockchain.

Metis aims to recognize the best developers, professional contributors in the community and introduce them to our ecosystem. We encourage project developers to introduce their projects and build on Metis to utilize programs like Metis Grants and the Metis Builder Mining Program.

The challenge for this event is to develop solutions to real world problems that can be solved with a Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) on KORIS. The goal is to research and identify a problem that can be solved through the use of DACs, create a roadmap for a potential solution, and develop a prototype of the solution on the Metis Testnet. This roadmap should include specific milestones that outline the steps needed to solve the problem.

To begin, contestants should research and identify a problem that they are interested in, and that can be solved through the use of DACs. Once the problem is identified, contestants should gather references and research that support the need for a solution, and that shows the potential of a DAC to solve the problem. The problem statement should clearly articulate the problem, its significance, and the potential impact of a solution using DACs.

Once the problem statement has been developed, contestants should create a short-term roadmap that outlines the key milestones needed to solve the problem, using DACs. This roadmap should include specific, measurable, and achievable milestones that can be converted into proposals and tasks for the DAC.

The contestants will be using KORIS to convert the roadmap milestones into relevant proposals and tasks for the DAC. One of the features that KORIS has is a project management tool that will help to organize, prioritize, and assign tasks to the different members within the DAC.

The hackathon will be judged based on the innovation and relevance of the problem/project focus, on the potential of the solution to be implemented as a DAC, and on the usability of the prototype application that is created on the Metis Testnet. The team that presents the most innovative and relevant problem/project focus, that demonstrates the most potential for the solution to be implemented as a DAC, and that develops a usable prototype will be declared the winner of the hackathon.
